Jesus' Footsteps app for iPhone and iPad

Jesus’ Footsteps is an interactive chronological presentation of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Using an animated map, this unique app takes you along the journey with Jesus as He travels through the Holy Land preaching and teaching nearly two millennia ago. Each step of the journey provides the storyline, interesting observations, and a justification section giving the basis for the step. The purpose of the app is to show the chronological order of events presented in the 4 Gospels to provide a detailed understanding of the life and mission of Jesus.

Each step of the journey is animated on a map to give a better picture of the timing of events and distances traveled. The miracles performed at each step display on the map as you proceed from His baptism in the Jordan River to His death, burial, and resurrection in Jerusalem.

The detail text associated with each step is accessible from the map by touching the "blinking red" step destination. By doing so, you will be routed to a text screen which is divided into four sections: 1) Ministry, 2) Notes, 3) Scripture, and 4) Glossary. The Notes section is further divided into 2 subdivisions: 1) Interesting Observations and 2) Justification for the Chronology. The text screen provides an option for returning to the map at each step or stepping through the details of the chronology in any order. On the map screen, a slider is available at the top of the screen that shows step progression, but can also be used to move forward or backward through the steps. Feet icons at the bottom of the map are used to initiate animation between the steps.

There is also a seperate section that is available from the start screen to view Jesus Miracles in traditional order and see the related gospel passages.
